Thailand Football A Disgrace

Harsh words for a title but they fully deserve it, WHY? you may ask.
If you are one of the people watching the Singapore Vs Thailand match last night, you will surely know why.

Lots of things to point out, the match did not went smoothly due to poor performance by the middle man (refree), he did not control the game well and let some obvious tackles go unpunished! Lots of poor decision by him. He lets tackles and fouls go like it's a rugby match. So perfomance rating for the ref is very low.

Now to the main topic which is the Thailand national team, this is a team that had been well respected in Asean. A team that is always to beat in any tournament but last night, they threw their earned respect into the toilet bowl and flushed it away. WHY? you may ask again, well... they did something really STUPID or really CRAZY, 10mins before the end of official time, the ref awarded a penalty to Singapore! A harsh decision some may say but that's football! Some nights you win, some nights you will lose! Some nights you draw the game, so that's fair right? But the Thailand team, NO! they decided that well, TONIGHT we want to be like cry babies and boycott the match hoping that the refree will undo his decision by sitting at the sideline! WTF!!! Is this Thailand or some small children playing under the block? I think the children under the blocks playing are better at sportmanship than them!

For 15mins! They were persuaded by the match officials, federation commitees and all the big shots available on the field (lucky Mr S.R. Nathan were not called to the field too!) like a small kid who did not get his candy and his father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncles all must go to him and "pujuk" to not cry and play the game! Wahaha! Mangkuk hayun! What nosense is this? The stadium is packed! LIVE TV on two channels (Ch5 and STAR Sports!) They act like this!?

After much persuasion, they decide to continue the game, but damage is done! Thailand is a DISGRACE to Asean Football. I think before they boycott another game, why not we just give them the trophy! So that they won't cry like kids without candies. Ermmm, NOT (fat hope)!

This weekend, to my beloved LIONS! Show the cry babies (Thailand) how to act like men and play good football! Show them what's sportmanship and win the CUP! I believe this current team have the power to do it. I wish them all the BEST! GO LIONS GO!
